Creative Scotland Award winner, dancer and choreographer Claire Cunningham presents two biographical solos Mobile and Evolution. These humorous stories; about doctors and dancing, bikes and ballet are all threaded together and balanced upon, hanging from, spinning on and swinging from crutches.
Any possible sentimentality of 'a wee girl on crutches' is undercut with a good healthy dose of Scottish sarcasm. Audiences have been surprised and entertained, as well as provoked into questioning their ideas of aesthetics and dance.
