What is Made in Scotland showcase?
Made in Scotland is a showcase of Scottish theatre, dance and music on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It is a partnership project between the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society (who lead on the project), Creative Scotland, Federation of Scottish Theatre and the Scottish Music Centre. The project is funded by the Scottish Government’s Edinburgh Festivals Expo Fund.
The Made in Scotland website is managed by the Federation of Scottish Theatre.
What information do we collect about you?
Made in Scotland collects information about you when you sign up to our newsletter or create a log-in to access your shortlist of MiS shows. We also collect information when you send us an inquiry by email. We collect website usage information using cookies.
How will we use this information about you?
We collect this information to send you relevant communications about the Made in Scotland showcase.
Made in Scotland will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside the showcase. We also do not share contact information between the Showcase partners without permission.

Made in Scotland website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics sets a cookie to evaluate your use of the website. This allows us to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour. Google stores the information collected by the cookie on servers in the United States. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Marketing and our newsletter.
Made in Scotland keeps a mailing list of its newsletter subscribers. Email addresses are added to this list in two ways –
1 – By using a sing up forms on our website. When you add your information to this form, we store your name and email address in our CRM system.
2 – If we received your permission at a trade fair or a networking event, we will add your name to the mailing list manually.
Anyone can opt-out of our newsletter by clicking the unsubscribe link included at the bottom of every email. Or email us at madeinscotland@scottishtheatre.org. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
