In a small town in upstate New York a group of teenage girls starts behaving strangely: twitching and stuttering uncontrollably and without any cause. The girls’ story catches the public imagination.
But is it a case of mass hysteria? Or something darker?
Borrowing from the genres of documentary podcasts and horror films, The Afflicted is a highly physical, visual piece
of dance theatre and the inaugural production of new Scottish company groupwork, made up of a team of multi-talented, award-winning artists.
Notes: Contains strobing lights/images and scenes that some may find distressing.
