2014

Overview

A flexible and adventurous
chamber ensemble, Daniel’s
Beard have established a reputation for hosting festivals and creating new programmes.

This, their signature family show, combines their hugely popular Jabberwocky, The Owl and the Pussycat and Stomp Like a Dinosaur with a new setting of The Lady of Shalott, by Lenny Sayers. This classic poem has all the ingredients of a blockbuster feature film –
a damsel in distress, a handsome knight in shining armour, thrilling action and dark undertones… Dancers from High Heart Dance Company join the musicians for this Made in Scotland supported performance.
